The death occurred at the Riverview Manor on May 13, 2015 of Lauretta Christina Young (nee MacDonald). Age 87.
Wife of the late Donald Roy Young. Loving mother of Phyllis (Garry) MacSwain, Donna Young, Debi (Sam) Smith, Max (Donna Penny) Young and Carmen (Richard) McGrattan. Dear grandmother of Sam T. (Robyn) Smith, Jeff (Karry) Smith, Melissa Smith and Matthew (Cheryl) MacSwain. Great-grandmother of Samantha, Carter and Sawyer Smith. Survived by brothers, Oliver (Vaunda) MacDonald and Rollie (Betty) MacDonald.
Predeceased by parents, Malcolm and Amelia (MacLeod) MacDonald; brothers, Benjamin and Alonzo (Dockie) MacDonald; and granddaughter, Megan MacSwain.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home for a Celebration of her Life (visitation) on Saturday, May 16 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral from funeral home chapel on May 17 at 3 p.m. Interment in Murray River Cemetery.
