SOCK, HOWARD NOWELL
(1942-2015)
ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Howard Sock 72, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Born in Bridgewater, Maine he was the son of the late John Sock and late Sarah Levi.
Before retiring, Howard was employed at the Elsipogtog First Nation Band Office. He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.
Howard will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Elizabeth "Lulu" (Peters) Sock; one daughter, Sharon(Kirby); three sons, Kenny (Wendy), Stewart, Jason (Lani); nine grandchildren, Charla, Andy, Chayden, Kameron, Catlin, Zoey, Emily, Kendra, Alex; four great-grandchildren, Chaya, Isla, Kohen and Jayla. He is also survived by eight sisters, Anita Joseph (Peter), Margaret Levi (Fred), Madeline Ward, Lee Ann Sock (Mark), Ava Levi, Gloria Augustine, Sylvia Milliea (Anthony), Sally Peter Paul (late Pat); twelve brothers, Stanley (late Shirley), Jacob (Geraldine), Harold (Diane), Harry (Eva), Leon (Carol), Charlie (Serena), Alfred (Linda), Gerald (Pauline), Ronald (Sheila), Simon Joe (Rose), James (Gwen), Russel and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Levi, Jesse, Fred; one sister, Madeline; one grandson, Baylen Jay and one granddaughter, Anne Marie.
Resting at his home, 71 Riverside Drive, Elsipogtog beginning on Saturday at 2:00 PM until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at, 11:00 am, St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
