Passed peacefully away at the A.M. Guy Memorial Hospital, on May 26, 2015 Pearl Simmons of Buchans. Predeceased by husband Albert and four children Harriett Parrott, Janet Duhart (Gerald), Reginald Simmons and Robert Simmons. Leaving to celebrate her life are daughters Marie (Derek Short), Violet (Jim Gilmour) and sons Roy Simmons and Dennis Simmons, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, son-in-law Leroy Parrott, daughter-in-law Beulah Wall, sister Clara Jackson, sisters-in-law Edna Jerrett and Louise Osmond, brother-in-law Ernest Simmons (Audrey), many nieces and nephews as well as friends. Rested at the Salvation Army Church, Buchans Wednesday evening 7-9 pm, Thursday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Friday 10 am. - 12 pm. Funeral Service was held Friday, May 29th at 2 pm. Interment Buchans Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Pearl's memory can be made to the Autism Society of NL, St. John's. Arrangements intrusted to Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander.
