BROWN'S YARD, NB - Bertha Flanagan 88, of Brown's Yard, NB passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born in Brown's Yard, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Flanagan and Mary Jane Kelly.
She attended St. Paul's Anglican Church in Brown's Yard.
Bertha will be sadly missed by her four children, Verna Forbes (Vaughn), Glenda Leger (Billy), Gerald Flanagan (Martha), Freeman Flanagan (Pauline); nine grandson; one granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters and one brother, Elliot Flanagan.
She was predeceased by one infant son; one great-granddaughter, Jesse; five brothers and four sisters.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Monday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brown's Yard. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Donations in Bertha's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or charity of the donor's choice.
