Reginald "Reg" McGee

McGEE, REGINALD "REG" CARL
The death of Reginald Carl McGee occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 31st, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of Avis (Biggar) and the late Carl McGee. He was the husband of the late Joyce (Lindsay) McGee and a loving companion to Debby Price.
Reg started his career in the construction industry at J.W. Bird and Company Ltd. In 1983 he established Direct Construction Products where he received his Architectural Hardware Consultant Designation. He later pursued a lifelong dream of obtaining his Funeral Director and Embalmers Licence in 2006. After obtaining his licence he joined McAdam’s Funeral Home where he became a personal family member to all of the team. Reg’s love for his family and large sense of humor will never be forgotten. His ready wit was a refreshing reprieve given at just the right moment as only he could do. Reg had great respect for his fellow colleagues and in his spare time could be seen driving his convertible with his grandchildren who were the love of his life.
Survived by his mother, Avis; his loving companion, Debby; one son, Mike (Nicole); one daughter, Carla Smith (Darren); four grandchildren, Matthew, Jack, Ben and Ella; one sister, Janis Mullin (Mel); one brother, Ron McGee (Mildred); and two nephews, Jay T McGee and Jason Lyons.
Reg was predeceased by his father, Carl; wife, Joyce; and one sister, Linda.
A very special thank you to the staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and McAdam’s Funeral Home.
