DUPUIS, ALFRED "FRED"
Alfred "Fred" Dupuis, 86, of Grand Barachois, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on May 31, 2015. Born in Gardner Mass. USA on May 2nd 1929, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ernestine (Roy) Dupuis.
He was a retired carpenter and fisherman. He loved hunting, gardening, taking drives and playing cards.
He will be sadly by his special friend, Émerise Gaudet of Grand Barachois; two sons: Edgar Dupuis (Pierrette) of St-André-LeBlanc, Charles Dupuis of Grand Barachois; three sisters: Huberte Gagnon (Gérard) of Shediac, Elizabeth Richard (Laurie), Rachel Goguen (Late Desiré) all of Cocagne; three brothers: Normand (Amanda) of Dieppe, Robert (Pat) of Lynn, Mass. USA Gérard (Doris) of Grand Barachois and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Cécile Melanson (1987); brothers and sisters: Anna, Hélène, Hervé, Roger and infant Jeannette.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday, June 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. The funeral mass will be held on June 4th at St- Henri Roman Catholic Church, 1356 route 133, Grand Barachois at 10:30am.
