Gerald Francis Cooke
To the many friends and family of the late Gerry Cooke, we wish to extend our sincere thanks for your kind expressions of condolence and support.
We would like to express our appreciation to Gerry’s brothers in the Knights of Columbus and to his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, the Corner Brook Press Club, and the Lions Club. We wish to extend a special thank you to his nephew, Jack Cooke, and his long-time friend, Paul Gillingham, whose superb organizational skills helped us with a multitude of items that required our attention. We would also like to acknowledge the caring and professional staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home who made a difficult process so much easier and the staff of Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the expert attention he received while in their care.
To our many friends, neighbors and family members who dropped off cards, flowers or food, thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness.
Finally, many thanks to Fr. Edward Terry; Andrew White; and the choir, soloist, and congregation of Holy Redeemer Cathedral. Gerry was a long-time member of the parish – we know that he would have greatly appreciated the beautiful music and the many kind words and blessings offered during the funeral service.
Betty, Brian, Des, Ken, Doug and Families.
