1922 - 2015
The death of Edna Lillian Rideout of Hartland occurred on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home. Born January 29, 1922 in Simonds she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Shaw) Brooks.
She was also predeceased by her husband, Weldon and two brothers, Harold and Peter.
Edna is survived by her two children, Debbie Eliakis (Louis) and Andrew Rideout; four grandchildren John Eliakis (Kristine), Anna Marie Eliakis-Hall (Chris), Justin Rideout (Jennifer) and Jenna Rideout-Dyer (Justin Dyer); five great-grandchildren, Elias, Brandon, Hannah, Quinn and John; two siblings, Rev. Paul Brooks (Shirley) and Orpha McHatten as well several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul Brooks will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
