It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Anthony ‘Donny’ Michael, 60 of Eskasoni, who passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Ontario, he was the son of the late Cecilia Michael.
Donny was a kind and loving man who will be missed by his sister, Arlene Michael-Morley, Ont.; brothers, Brian Morley, Eskasoni; Joey Contie, Ontario; nieces Ashley, Shereen, Vanessa, Cecilia, Taliah and Juanita; nephews, Bradley Marshall and James Morley; his only godchild, Tamara Morley.
He was predeceased by his brother, Brad John Morley.
Visitation for the late Mr. Michael will begin after 3 p.m. on Monday, June 8th at the Gabriel Centre, Eskasoni. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery, Eskasoni.
