BOUDREAU, ANNA
1917 – 2015
Anna Boudreau, 97 years young, of Résidence O’Bon Soins Shediac, formerly of Grand Barachois passed away on June 7th, 2015. Born in Shediac on September 2nd 1917, she was the daughter of Auguste and Emma (Belliveau) Gautreau.
She worked at the Villa Providence for a few years and did volunteer work there for 15 to 20 years. Her passion was quilting and knitting socks and “mitaine” for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Gérard Boudreau (Hélène) of Babineau Road, Sylvine Vautour (Camille) of Dieppe, Mimi Boudreau (Raymond Milot) of Asbestos QC, Yvon Boudreau of Grand Prairie AB, Lita LeBlanc (Armand, Gisèle Boudreau (George), Guy Boudreau (Claire) all of Grand-Barachois, Lilianne Carrier (Ron), Paulette Boudreau all of Shediac; daughter-in-law: Dorothy (Dot) of Grand Barachois; a brother: Camille Gautreau of Shediac; a sister-in-law: Doris Gautreau of Saint-Antoine. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Abel, her son Roger, her sister Irène and brothers: Edgar, Charles, Louis, Arthur, Henri, Clarence, Joseph, Émile and Aldéric.
Visitation will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday only, June 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Funeral mass will be held in St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, 1356 route 133, Grand Barachois on June 10 at 10:30am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
