Surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, June 7, 2015 of Rosemary Stella McGuirk of Charlottetown, age 65 years.
Daughter of the late Billy and Eileen Shea and half-sister of Wilma Smith, Julie Shea, Theresa Laverty (Reggie), Hubert Shea, John Shea (Linda), Geraldine Shea (deceased). Adopted daughter of the late Henry and Stella McGuirk. Survived by Gordon McGuirk (Mary), John McGuirk (Florence), Ivan McGuirk, Gladys Smith (Johnnie) and Shirley McManus. Rosemary is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and special furry friend, Bandit. Predeceased by Tena, Doris, Isabel, Bertha, Pearl, Gerald, Clifford, Ralph, Elmer and Eric.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at St. Joachim's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
