Died peacefully in his 91st year. Predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Eva (nee Hiscock). Survived by his seven children Brenda, Ruth, David, Margaret, Sharon, Susan, Billy and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At William's request, the family will hold an open service with just interment in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Bareneed, Newfoundland. There will be a viewing Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 2- 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Home, Water Street, Bay Roberts. Then Interment at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015. In lieu of flowers all donations would be gratefully accepted at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Bareneed. All friends and family are encouraged to attend as we will be having a social at St. Mark's School, Bareneed after interment to celebrate "POPS" life.
