BOUCHER, JOSEPH
1923 - 2015
Joseph H. Boucher, 91, formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born on October 29, 1923 in Shediac Bridge, he was the son of the late Henri and Marie-Blanche (Caissie) Boucher.
Prior to his retirement, he was an oil truck operator for Gulf and Irving.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Généva (Léger); one daughter, Murielle LeBlanc (Vincent) of Dieppe; two sons: Robert of Edmonton, AB, and Daniel (Penny) of Moncton; four grandchildren: Mireille, Micheline, Renée and Daniel; one great-grandchild, Damon; three step-grandchildren: Nathan, Ryan and Jennifer; three step-great-grandchildren: Kyley, Lexi and Taven; one sister, Lorette Cormier (Oscar) of Shediac; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Rita and Généva; four brothers: Léandre, John, René and Gérard.
Special thank you to the staff of Villa du Repos for their exceptional care given to our father during his stay. A special thank you to Murielle and Ginette for your care and compassion given to our father and our family during his last days; it warmed our hearts.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Friday from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of departure (10:10). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, 1014 Amirault Street, Dieppe on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
