Terrance Amedee Leblanc passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on June 10, 2015.
Born in Low Point on June 17, 1947, he was the son of the late Lucy Mildred (Baker) and Benjamin Amedee Leblanc.
He is survived by his wife, Heddy (Sears); daughter, Barbara (Keith) Webb and grandson, Reilly Benjamin. Also, survived by sister, Brenda (Larry) Rankin and their children, Lorelle, Donna and Brian and their families of Edmonton, Alta.
Amedee was employed at the Sydney Steel Corporation for 30 years on security.
Family would like to thank the C.B. County Homemakers for the excellent care they provided for the past two years, especially Trish MacKinnon, Brian, Jimmy and Shirley. Thanks are extended also to the caring and compassionate staff on 4D at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. There will be no visitation or service.
Cremation will take place and Amedee’s ashes will be scattered on his favourite beach at a later date.
The family would appreciate any donation in Amedee’s memory be made to the Paws Mart in Whitney Pier.
