MELANSON, ZELLA
1934 - 2015
Zella Melanson, 80, formerly of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born August 17, 1934 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helena (Richard) Brun.
Zella was a retired kindergarden teacher having taught in Bermuda and Cap-Pelé for over 40 years. She was truly devoted to her students.
She is survived by her daughter, Charline Melanson of Moncton; four sisters: Elise Brine, Edna Brine, Laura Jacob and Minnie Jacob (Roméo); several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rhéal (2005), three sisters: Anita, Anna and infant Marie; two brothers: Donat and Clovis.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) Sunday from 2 to 4 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Zella, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of N.B. or to the Providence Foundation (Villa du Repos) would be appreciated.
