Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 of Mildred Praught of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Praught, loving mother of William (Betty), Angus (Daichan), Michael (Ree), Donna MacDonald (Louis), Ernest (Sandra), Beth MacLean (Allison), Michael Jr. and Amber Praught (John). Mildred will be lovingly remembered by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters - Marie MacEachern (Donald), Linda Deveaux, Carol Chandler, Brenda Chandler and brothers - Eric, John (Doris), Harvery (Mary) and Barry Chandler (Debbie). She was predeceased by her mother, Ada Chandler, and step father, Wally Chandler.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., for visitation Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
