WHITEHEAD, BRIAN J. G.
1947 - 2015
Brian J. G. Whitehead, 68, of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born in Waterloo, PQ, and was the son of the late Kenneth E. and Alice Whitehead. Brian was employed as a caretaker for 23 years at St. Augustine's and worked for Walker Security for 10 years.

He enjoyed sports and was a member of the Moncton Minor Hockey Association, he also refereed hockey in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe as well as coaching and working as a co-ordinator of hockey, baseball and soccer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Patricia "Pat" A. Whitehead, daughters Shelley (Steve) Raper, Jennifer Whitehead (fiancé Jordan Wylie) all of Prince George, BC and Kerry Collette of Moncton; sons Peter of Calgary, AB and Mitchell of Victoria, BC; seven grandchildren Stephanie Doiron, Marc Doiron, Michael Raper, Alyson Raper, Arianna Payne, Zachary Payne and Addyson Wylie; brother Connell Whitehead (Gloria) of Moncton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Susan MacKillop
Resting at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.

The Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Church, Botsford St. Moncton, NB on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens
Donations in Brian’s memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation "Palliative Care" would be appreciated by his family.
