STILES, RONALD "RON" K.
The passing of Ronald Kenneth Stiles of Fredericton occurred Friday, June 12, 2015 with his loving wife Sandi by his side. Born in Moncton, NB, on December 12, 1950, Ron was a son of the late John Herbert Stiles and Doris Bernice (Jones) Stiles.
He is survived by his brothers, Donald (Deborah) Stiles of Port Perry, ON, Martin (Helen) Stiles of Indian Mountain, NB, and sisters Valerie (Gregory) Stiles of Cambridge Narrows, NB, Sandra (Leary) Hebert of Niagara Falls, ON, Wendy (Robert) Shelley of Campbell River, BC, Carolin (Timothy) Stiles of Hillsborough, NB, and Vanessa Stiles of Stilesville, NB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Although Ron lived with Multiple Sclerosis for 43 years, he radiated a cheerful disposition, great strength and courage. He enjoyed going to weekly movies, gardening, playing games, cooking, watching sports and listening to music and CBC Radio. During much of his life, he was a successful self-employed artist.
Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 3:00 PM. There will be a Visitation at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 986 Smythe Street on Friday, June 19 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will also be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, June 20 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to your local food bank would be appreciated or for your convenience food can be dropped off at a Food Bank Box within the church during the time of the Visitation or memorial service.
