Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by her loving family at the Leonard A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday June 17th, 2015 Patsy Bishop at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband of nearly 50 years, Max; daughter Maxine Drover (Philip); sons Dennis (Erin Walsh) and Jonathan (Angela Browne); grandchildren Paul, Julian (Kelsey), Brandon (Victoria), Bobby, Jack and Sarah; her siblings Doris Mills (Al), Ted (Annie), Audrey Williams (Rick) and Sandra; sister-in-Law: Judy Smith (Howard); and a very large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jake & Mary Chislett of Islington, brother Clayton and daughter-in-law Shelly. Visitation will take place at the Cavendish Community Centre on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 10-1:30. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 20th at 2 pm at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Hearts-Delight Islington, Reverend Eli Evans officiating, with internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
