HAMM – Dennis Eugene, age 56 passed away suddenly on June 7, 2015. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Valerie Hamm, and his children, Chris Severson (Desiree), Jenna Hamm (Steve), Angelique Hamm (Neil) and their children Zayden and Hudson, Shelbie Sparrow and Helena Sparrow. He also leaves behind his father, Abe Hamm; sisters Margo Boyko (Randy) and their families, Julie Berger (Lawrence) and their families; brothers Tony Hamm and his children, Ken Hamm (Cathy), Jacob Hamm (Helen) and their children. Dennis is predeceased by his mother Ruth Hamm, his maternal grandparents, John and Helen Stout; paternal grandparents, Peter and Susana Hamm as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Dennis attended school at Lindale School in Moose Jaw and then Morse School and then he moved to Swift Current. Dennis was an active member of the Salvation Army Church, where he attended for many years. He could be found helping out where he could be of use, whether it was bagging dog food that was donated to the food bank, or picking up members of the church for service on Sundays. Dennis had a passion for computers, and was always trying to fix numerous ones. He also loved to fish and had hopes of someday teaching his grandson how to do so. A funeral service was held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home with Captain Michael Ramsey officiating. The interment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank or to the SPCA.
