Margaret Locke, of Moose Jaw, passed away June 21, 2015 at the age of 93. Margaret was born June 8, 1922 at Luseland, SK and moved to Moose Jaw in 1944. She worked at the Princess Café and that is where she met the love of her life, Elmer. They were married in 1947. Over the years she also worked at Canaday’s and St. Anthony’s Home, retiring in 1979. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing. She and Elmer travelled and camped across Canada - twice, bowling and golfing along the way! She had been a member of Timothy Eaton Seniors. Predeceased by her parents, husband Elmer, one sister and two brothers, she will be lovingly remembered by her children: Errol (Marie) – Lethbridge, AB, Loretta (Grant) Kraus – Moose Jaw, Bruce (Shirley) – Oakville, ON, Lloyd (Andrea) – Summerside, PEI, and Wanda (Stanley) Boughner – Nanaimo, BC; eight grandchildren: Cheryl Ismond, Grant (Janet) Giddings, Peter (Andrea), Jessica (Chris) Acres, Richard, Zenith, Rory (Shyla) and Tiffany Kraus; three great-grandchildren: Ryan, Shelby, and Delilah; sister Eva Volk – Edmonton; sisters-in-law Tina Rambold, Margery Blanchette, and Kay Locke; and many nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Wednesday June 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
