It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Jimmy McEachern on June 21, 2015 at Adanac Park Lodge in Vancouver.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Murdoch and Dorothy (McNeil) McEachern
Shortly after Jimmy had finished his basic training in the Air Force, he was involved in a severe car accident which ended his career. After being honourably discharged, he went to Vancouver, where he would spend the remainder of his years. Jimmy is survived by his seven sisters, Gail (Bobby), Terri, Patsy, Marion (Peter), Josi (Eric), Maureen (Chip) and Kim (Erin); aunts, Pat and Teace, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by a sister, Murdena and brother-in-law, Don Cox. He was also predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place in Vancouver. A chapel service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held in St. Agnes cemetery.
