Rasmussen, Christian “Chris”, 83, of Dawson Settlement, passed away on June 24, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Born in Denmark on March 4, 1932, he was the only son of the late Marius and Marie “Bedste” Rasmussen. Chris retired in 1996 from Apex Machine Works, with over 30 years of service. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret on November 19, 2014; and sisters, Jenny Haskett and Bodil Van Egmond. Chris is survived by children, Bryant (Beth) Rasmussen and Bonnie (Paul) Biggar; grandchildren, Kenneth, Josie and Christian; sisters, Tinne Madsen and Lise Rasmussen; sister-in-law Marie Maisey, and several nieces and nephews. At Chris’ request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
