Lloyd Gillis, 82, of Mahone Bay and formerly of New Waterford, passed away peacefully Feb. 16, 2015 in the Mahone Bay Nursing Home.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 29 at 2 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith St., New Waterford with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at St. Leonard's Parish Hall on Convent Street, New Waterford.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
