CHICOINE, MARY J. (JOSEPHINE)
Mary J. (Josephine) Chicoine of Sussex Corner, passed away on June 27, 2015 at the age of 72. Mary was born in Gaspe on April 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Basil Gaumond and Annie Element.

Mary is survived by her husband Douglas Wortman, her children: Diane, Earl and Mona Chicoine all of Toronto and her stepson Doug Wortman Jr. (Rhonda) of Kitchner, ON, her grandchildren: Ashley, Kellie, Brad, Chris, Nancy, Janice and Shannon, her great grandson Daniel; five brothers: Charles (Evelyn) of Montreal, Adelard (Carey) of Montreal, Patrick (Florence), Owen (Mary), and Harman (Marina) all of Gaspe, Quebec; two sisters: Lucy Gaumond of Hamilton, ON, Doris Whalen (Patrick) and Olive Gaumond all of Gaspe. as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary is predeceased by her first husband Abraham Chicoine; by her daughter Darlene Chicoine and by her sister Lucy Gaumond.

Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Monday, June 29th, 2015 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00am.

The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
