It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, father, son and brother Levi Thomas Boutilier, 49, on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Lillian (Swartzack) Boutilier and the late Cecil Boutilier.
Levi was employed with Saputo (Scotsburn Dairy) for 22 years. He was a kind-hearted, loving family man, who loved his wife and boys very much. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Levi enjoyed the simple things in life, like spending time in his yard, known as the king of the barbeque, playing music or singing around the campfires with his family. A fun game of pool or croquet at the family parties, family vacations or yearly camping trips, but most of all he enjoyed a quiet night at home with his family as he relaxed in his recliner with the TV remote in his hand.
Surviving are his loving wife Angela (Currie); sons, Matthew and Raymond; mother Lillian; sisters, Cindy (Ray) and Stephanie; brothers, Cecil (Evelyn), Ronnie, Tony, Darren (Wenda); father-in-law Naish; mother-in-law Jackie; brothers-in-law, Willie (Heidi) and Joe (Sabrina); godchildren, Chloe and Dawson; along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father he was predeceased by his brother Johnny.
Visitation for Levi will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 1 at 10 a.m. at Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Leo Boone officiating. Interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery.
