FRIGAULT, OMER
(1936-2015)
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Omer Frigault 78, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Léo Frigault and late Maria (Vautour) Frigault.
Before retiring, Omer was employed as a Highway Foreman for the Department of Transportation for 38 years. He was a member of the Saint-Louis-de-Kent Municipal Council and he also volunteered his time with his parish. Omer loved to go hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Omer will be sadly missed by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Eléonore (Richard) Frigault of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; one daughter, Martine Frigault of Dieppe; three sons, Michel Frigault (Anise) of Irishtown, Bertrand Frigault (Dina) of Saint Louis, Léandre Frigault (Lucie Maillet) of Saint-Louis; five grandchildren, Joëlle, Pierre, Nathalie, Maxime, Sophia and one great-granddaughter, Annabelle. He is also survived by two sisters, Clara Therrien (Gérard) of Rivière Rouge, Quebec and Angéline Frigault of Montreal, Quebec and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Camille and Léandre Frigault.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:30 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
