MacARTHUR, MILDRED EILEEN
The passing of Mildred E. MacArthur of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Cambridge-Narrows, occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on July 6, 2015. She was 99. Born in Plaster Rock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Hazel (Giberson) Sherwood and wife of the late William Edward MacArthur.
Mildred was affiliated with the Baptist Church and a member of the Washademoak Jewels Seniors Club.
She is survived two daughters Marsha MacArthur-Jones (Gerald) and Amanda Hawke all of Fredericton; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a daughter Donna Dearth, sisters Phyllis Troy, Kaye Sherwood and Marguerite Stewart.
Family will receive visitors at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon followed by a service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment in the Rowena United Baptist Cemetery, Rowena, NB at a later date.
