Simone M. Comeau, 89, of Résidence Moncton, Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, July 9th, 2015, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Richibucto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and the late Mathilde (née: Cormier) Comeau.
Prior to retirement, Ms. Comeau worked for 42 years at CN. She was an avid lawn bowler, enjoyed golf, curling and travelling. She was a member of Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption parish.
She is survived by one sister, Corinne Comeau of Moncton; three brothers: Fernand (Germaine) Comeau of Gardner, MA, Louis (Simone LeBlanc) Comeau of Quebec and Claude (Rita) Comeau of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents; she was predeceased by one sister, Bernadette and also by two brothers: Raymond and Raoul.
At her request, no visitation will be held.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 at 10 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
