Sheilagh Marie Burchell-Burke
Lorne - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sheilagh Marie Burchell-Burke of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Lorne, Pictou County, NS on July 9, 2015 at the Valley View Villa.
Born in Sydney Mines she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anne (Ingraham) MacIntyre.
Sheilagh was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Glasgow where she was a member of the Women’s Relief Society.
She is survived by her husband Gary Burke, Lorne; daughter Shannon (Tom) Power, Sydney; son James (Nicole) Burchell, Petawawa Ontario; grandchildren Matthew, Owen, Graeme, Evan and Paige; sisters Marie (Jim) Pelletier, Florida; Sharon (Terry) Ducarme, Sydney Mines; Linda (Dave) Covin, Calgary; Ronnie (Kevin) MacIntyre, Dartmouth; Beverly Fortin, Halifax; brother Billy MacIntyre, Sydney; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband James Burchell and a brother Bruce MacIntyre.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with President Stephen MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Family flowers only.
