Bob Gallop of Moncton, N.B., formerly of North Sydney, N.S., passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
He was the son of the late Harry and Mary M. Gallop (Nicholson). Bob was an employee of Marine Atlantic for 45 years. Lifetime member of Country Meadows Golf Club, Marine Atlantic Pensioners Club as well as the North Sydney Lions Club.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Lois Scouse (Carll); two daughters, Glenda (Glenden), Karen (Jim); son, Robert (Diane); grandchildren, John and Lauren; stepdaughter, Elaine; step-grandson, Darren; sister, Janet (Leonard); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by a sister, Joan; two brothers, Ken and Keith and stepson, Steven.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007).
In honouring Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, N.B., at a later date.
