Joseph Wayne (Joe)
November 6, 1955 - July 10, 2015
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved spouse, brother, uncle and friend after a courageous battle with cancer. Joe passed peacefully away at Health Sciences Centre, on July 10, 2015, at the age of 59 years. Predeceased by parents Gus and Evelyn Noseworthy, sister Doreen Wall, brother Tony Noseworthy, and nephew Ronald Mason. Leaving to celebrate his life with loving memories are his wife of 22 years Nancy Somerton, his four legged furry friend Simon, and sister Ethel Gladney (Frank). Also left to mourn his nieces Niki Coursey (Scott) San Antiono, Texas, and Deborah Hammond (Nick Gotez) Ontario and special nephew Gus Hammond (Melanie), great niece and nephew Morgan and Thomas Hammond of Ontario, sister-in-law Judy Gladney, Aunt Effie Garner of USA, Uncle Fred Chrurchill (Sadie) Portugal Cove and Nelson Legrow of St. John's. Also mourning his loss are members of the Somerton, Miller and Harding families, special friends Glen & Hilda Pendergast, Calgary, Alberta, co-workers from Crosbie Salamis; Gary Kennedy, Doug Kennedy, Dave Cunningham, and a large circle of family & friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday from 2- 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 - 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
