Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. As an RNC officer he served Labrador and St. John's Division. He was also very active in the music community. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Lillian Follett, father-in-law Neil Butler and brother-in-law Arthur Butler. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Sharon (nee Butler), their son Shawn (Sarbi), grandchildren Alexander and Lucas Follett, daughter Joanne (John) Chafe. Also leaving his daughters Lisa, grandchildren Amanda and Stephanie, Lois, Lori, son Dale and their mother Judy Dale. Leaving his brothers: Frank (Patricia), Harold (Maxine) and Charles (Sherry), sister Joan Miller (Wilfred), mother-in-law Rita Butler, sisters-in-law: Diane Collins, Rosalind (Jim) Robertson, April Stead (Monty Dyke), Lisa Rowe, brother-in-law Neil (Judy) and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thank you to the staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their care and compassion over the last 4 months. Special thanks to the RNC Association. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, July 15th and Thursday, July 16th from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Carnell's Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
