It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Louise Marion Roach on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Pike) Moulton.
Louise was an incredible and inspirational mother. Her life revolved around her whole family; family was everything to her. She was an absolute wonderful grandmother. She will be remembered for the great love she gave and was given in return from her grandchildren. Louise's beautiful smile brought many smiles to others. She enjoyed bingo, darts and reading and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Wayne), John (Lillian), Charmaine (John), Rosemarie, all of Ontario, Mary (Mark), Halifax, Lisa (Billy), Kathy, Shirley (Billy), all of New Waterford; sisters, Alvina, Michigan, Virgina, Lillian (Ron), all of Halifax; brother Lloyd, Ontario; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her son Paul Poisson, brothers, Ralph and Gordon, sister Grace Hayter.
There will be a private visitation at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 with a funeral mass to follow at 2 p.m. in St. Agnes Church, Mumford Road, Halifax. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sackville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford and Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax.

Louise fought a heroic battle with an amazing attitude. Special thank you to Kelly Anthony who was like a daughter to mom and a sister to us. Also, to doctors and nurses at the An Cala Palliative Care Unit and homecare for your extraordinary care. Thank you to all who prayed and helped mom through her illness.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory may be made to the Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
