It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert, age 56, at the University of Edmonton Hospital on June 27, 2015. He was the son of Robert 'Bob' Steele and Sylvia Lee.
Besides his parents, Robert is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Deanna Steele (Keith), Lisa Steele and his grandson, Brayden. They were the loves of his life. Robert is also survived by his brothers, Brian (Mary Jane) Steele, Dannie and Leonard (Becky) Steele, as well as three nieces, many uncles, aunts, cousins from the Steele and Lee families.
Also left to mourn is the mother of his children, Coleen (Ferguson) Steele, the extended Ferguson family, Gordon and Peggy Ferguson, Bev (Steve) Kaut, Gordie and Bruce from Caribou Marsh.
Robert was employed with Shell as an engineer for many years, where he made many great friends who enjoyed traveling and golfing together.
He was an avid sports fan, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays.
Robert was a kind, gentle and generous person, who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
