The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 of Edith Blackett, formerly of Little Pond, in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late William C. Blackett. Dear mother of Clayton (Linda) of Morell, Edgar (Grace) of Seven Mile Road, and John (Rhoda) of Little Pond. Grandmother of Thelma (Richard Sambrook), Marvyn Blackett (Cindy), Rachel Cane (Todd), Paul Blackett (Linda), Wanda Ching (Denton), Scott Blackett (Angela), Heidi Holland (Troy), Craig Blackett (Melody), and Kyle Blackett. Survived by sister, Colleen Cole, many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral to be held at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon, July 18, 2015 for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Annandale United Church Cemetery.
