BOYLE, EVELYN MAXINE
June 20, 1925 - July 18, 2015
The passing of Evelyn Maxine Boyle of Fredericton occurred on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She had just celebrated her “90” with a party. Born in Upper Keswick, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Inez (Morehouse) and Frank McKeil. Evelyn was the last surviving sibling of eight children. She was predeceased by her husband, John Boyle, who passed away August 7, 1959.
Evelyn was a Hairdresser and an Anglican by faith. She loved spending time with family and friends, a game of 45’s and a good glass of wine. She loved her feline friends and her parrot Elia who she taught an extended vocabulary.
She is survived by her daughter Charlotte (Rick) MacFarlane and son Ned Boyle. She will be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren; Jason (Reiko), Todd (Rachel) and Jill (Sean) MacFarlane, John (Sandi) and Jamie (Karen) Boyle. Evelyn was also a great-grandmother to 13. She was predeceased by one great-granddaughter, Madayln Boyle in 2003. She is survived by her sisters-in-law; Georgie Boyle, Mary Boyle and Ruth McKeil; several nieces and nephews who she cared about so much.
A special “Thank You” to all who cared for and befriended Evelyn at Parkland Shannex, Thomas Hall for the past four years. You were so kind to Mom.
Cremation will be followed by a private family graveside service.
