Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at his home. Predeceased by his parents Austin and Ann Reddy; parents-in-law France and Kit Boland; sister Zita, brothers Eugene and Kevin, brother in law Hubert Goulding; he leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Marg, daughter Cathy (Kevin) Eckville, AB, sons Bill (Kate) Red Deer, AB and Craig (Garnet) Gatineau, QB., granddaughters Kendra, Bethany, Emily and Jamie, one grandson Brent (Pop's Little Buddy). Also leaving to mourn are his brothers Ned (Sherwood Park, AB), Kenneth (St. John's, NL), Reg (Beaumont, AB) Leonard (Renews, NL) and sisters Linda (Fermeuse, NL), Anna (Fermeuse, NL), Janet (Paradise, NL), Janice (Renews, NL); sister-in-law Monica (Monce) and brother-in-law Rick Hopkins and their families. Bill will also be missed by the Boland family - sisters-in-law Emma (Comox, BC), Molly (Bedford, NS), Bride (St. John's, NL), Edna (Edmonton, AB) and brothers-in-law France (St. John's, NL), Terry (Halifax, NS), Rick (Happy Valley, Goose Bay). Also mourning his passing are his honorary grandchildren are Stephanie Lynn and Sheldon Reddigan and Kelsey O'Brien and his life long friend and brother-in-law Jimmy Harvey. Bill has a large circle of family and friends who will miss his love for singing and his easy going nature. His words were few but they had a lot of meaning. At his request the cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Tuesday (July 21, 2015) from 2:00-9:00 pm. Christian burial mass from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Calvert on Wednesday (July 22, 2015) at 10:00 am. Internment to take place at a later date.
