Peacefully at the Riverview Manor on Monday July 20, 2015 the passing of J. Charles Murchison of Montague aged 78 years.
Beloved husband of the late Linda (Nee Richards). Dear father of Rhonda (Colin) Paterson, John, Fred (Candace), Mary Lou (Tim Paul) Murchison, Donna Mae (Randy) Hume, Andrea (Mark) Gotell, Darla (Ryan) Murphy. Loving grandfather to Riley, Taunya (Justin), Levi, Charlie, MacKenzie, Miley, Julienne (Josh), Kailley (Tyler), Logan, Grace, Rebaccah (David), Kelsie, Abbie, Terissa, Connor, Madelyn, Maggie, Chloe and Darby; and great-grandfather to Sophie, Ava, Jackson and Mason. Charles is the brother-in-law of Robin Hancock (Ralph), Harold (Della) Richards, Pauline Richards (Frank), Irma Richards. Charles was predeceased by his parents Jack and Mae (Nee Nicholson) Murchison of Glen William, his son Allen Murchison and brothers and sister-in-laws Lester and Vivian Richards, Roger Richards and parents-in-law Sheldon and Marguerite Richards.
Dad worked at various things, Commissionaire at the QEH, Northumberland Ferry Ltd. Wendall Graham Ltd and the fishing industry.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Caledonia Cemetery.
