The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital surrounded by his loving family of Francis Rose of North Lake, in his 94th year.
Husband of the late Frances Rose (nee Cheverie), and special friend Sylvia MacLean.
Dear father of Norma (Charlie) MacDonald, Richard (Kay) Rose, Claire (John) MacLaren, Margie (Preston) MacDonald, Guy (Shelley) Rose, Lennie (Sandra) Rose, and Mary (David) Mahar.
Brother of Dan Rose, Theresa Dugan, Florence MacDonald, sister in laws Rose Cheverie, Cleo Rose, Phyllis Rose, Marie and Reg MacDonald.
Predeceased by son Bernie Rose, parents Alfred and Florence Rose, brothers Ernest and Kenny Rose, sisters Anna MacAulay, Margaret MacAulay, and Elizabeth Avery.
Loving grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris with visiting hours on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral to be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 to St. Columba Roman Catholic Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
Prayers by the Knights Of Columbus to be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. Memorials to the Souris Hospital or the St. Columba Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
