Norma was born on August 2, 1915 at Rocky Point to her parents Stephen Thomas and Mary (MacDonald) Currie.
Dear mother of Marion Younker (David), North Winsloe. Loving grandmother of Deanna Carroll (Joe), Stratford; Jennifer MacPherson (James), North Winsloe; Andrea Tovell (Dave), Onanole, Manitoba. Great-grandmother of Ryan Carroll, Danielle MacPherson, Christian MacPherson and Airlie Tovell. Step great-grandmother of Belinda Carroll and J.P. Carroll. Norma is remembered by Arnold's family; Carol Gass (Danny), Donna Herlihy, David MacDonald (Donna) and families; brothers-in-law Roland Muloin and Joe Klimes, both from B.C., and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husbands, Stanley Vessey and Arnold MacDonald; grandson, David Stanley Younker Jr; brother, Spurgeon Currie (Mary); sisters, Connie Betts (James), Nine Mile Creek; Jean Muloin and Florrie Klimes, both from B.C.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 4-6 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Winsloe United Church on Friday at 11 a.m. There will be a reception in the church hall following the service. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
