Roly grew up on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth, NS. He attended University of New Brunswick, graduated Civil Engineering class of 1962.
Roly was the husband of Ann Katherine Smillie David and had three children: Scott (Dartmouth, NS), Brennan (Banff, AB) and Tara (and son-in-law Norm) (Riverview, NB) and six grandchildren: Ryan and Raylene (Dartmouth, NS), Madison Lea and Emett (Banff, AB), and Jena Kate and Sam (Riverview, NB).
Roly has donated his body to medical research at Dalhousie University in Halifax. His family and friends will be together at a mass to be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Riverview, NB, on Friday August 7th, 2015 at 1pm.
