WHITEHEAD, LAWRENCE "LARRY" JAMES
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Whitehead of Fredericton, NB, on August 6, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Zierenberg, Germany, on March 13, 1955 he was a son of the late William and Florence (Inglis) Whitehead.
Larry was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, and was a Baker/Chef and employed with St. Mary’s Fish n Chips.
Survived by his wife Linda (Drummond) Whitehead; children Bobby Whitehead of Florida, Alex LeSage of Saint John, William Whitehead of Fredericton, Calvin Jensen, Bailey LeSage both of Saint John, Noel Drummond of Fredericton; five grandchildren; sisters Carmen, Pam and Cathy; brother Ricky (Michelle); several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother-in-law.
Resting at his late home 430 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary’s First Nation with visiting beginning at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015 and Sunday, August 9, 2015. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. Interment will be in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
