The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2015, of Fred Gosbee, husband of the late Florence Gosbee (nee MacDougall), of New Haven, aged 95.
Fred was the beloved father of David Gosbee (Joan-Anne); grandfather of Elsa Pitre (Chad) and Jamie; and great-grandfather of Keenan, Kaycee and Sydnee Pitre. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Larter, Joan Mahar and Jackie Creed; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Florence, Fred was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral will be held in Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment in Canoe Cove Presbyterian Cemetery.
