SHEPARD, LORNA
The passing of Lorna (Morrison) Shepard, wife of the late Walter Shepard, of Burtts Corner, NB occurred on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 13, 1927 in Rossville, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Chapman) Morrison.
Lorna was a member of Keswick Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with family.
Lorna is survived by her children, Larry (Sharon) Shepard of Keswick Ridge, NB, David (Karen) Shepard of Burtts Corner, NB, Nancy Brewer (Lee Taylor) of Burtts Corner, NB and Joy (Danny) Yerxa of Lower Coverdale, NB; her grandchildren, Kent (Karine) Brewer, Krystal Brewer (Tyler DeMerchant), Kristy (Shane) Brewer, Michael (Ruby) Shepard and Trevor Yerxa; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, Noah, Dawson, Graylin, Ashlin and Kyah; her sister, Nellie Corey of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Jean Yerxa.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Constance Shepard; brother, Elmer Morrison and sisters, Shirley Yerxa, Carol Stairs and Marion Boyd.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Keswick Baptist Church, Keswick, NB on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Bev Jewett officiating. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery.
