LOWERY, MARLENE
Marlene H. Lowery, 1937-2015, wife of George Lowery of Darlings Island, passed away with her family surrounding her on Sunday August 9, 2015. She was born in Sussex, N.B.
Marlene worked at Eatons until her family started to grow and she took on the job of Full Time Mom.
She loved sewing and spent many hours in her sewing room watching her TV and working on many projects.
During the late 1970's to early 1980's she taught ceramic classes and sold some of her many creations under her company "Valley Ceramics".
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 59 years, George; her son Tim Lowery (Patti) of Quispamsis; daughter Linda Lowery-Clark (Ken) of Shediac; Stephen Lowery (Lesa) of Quispamsis; her grandchildren, Eric, Melissa, Kyle, Julie, Jenna, Shelby and Luke; her two great-granddaughters Tori and Carlie and niece Cindy in BC and nephews Jason and Jeremy in Moncton.
She was predeceased by her mother Sadie Doughtwright, step-father Gorham Douthwright and her brother, Gordon Thorne.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). At Marlene's request there will be no visitation and a private family interment at a later date.
