NASH, ARNOLD "BEAVER"
Arnold “Beaver” Nash of St. Mary’s First Nation, NB, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Monday August 10, 2015 at the age of 61. Beaver was born in Gagetown, NB. He was employed at St. Mary’s Entertainment Center in the security department.
Beaver loved his family dearly and is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Gloria; his children James “Hoagie” Nash (Trish) of Fredericton, Douglas “Fred” Nash (Holly) of Edmonton, AB, Tammy Ogden of Fredericton and Katherine “Baby” Hood of Fredericton; grandchildren Anthony, Abigail, Alexander, A.J., Andrew, Craig, Rayden, James, JoJo, Brody, Brianna and Ayla; his mother Evelyn; several step-brothers, step-sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Walter; two brothers I.I. and Ernie.
There will be a visitation at 55 Brooks Drive, Fredericton, NB starting on Wednesday at 2:00 pm until Thursday evening. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11 am. Interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
