George Leo Michell passed away on Aug. 3, 2015 at Herbert Health Centre at the age of 96.
Leo was born on the family farm in Hodgeville Oct 4/18 first son of Leo Henry & Hazel Amelia (Brown) Michell.
He was predeceased by his first wife over 50 years, Margaret Elizabeth (Peggy) Gore, his oldest daughter, his oldest son & his parents & 2 brothers.
He is survived by 1 son & 2 daughters, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 daughter-in-law, & his second wife Maureen.
Leo was an air force flying officer during World War Two was an avid pilot, a member of the flying farmers & wheat pool & life time member of the R.C. Legion.
Leo will be missed dearly by his family & friends.
To Leo’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
