EDDINGTON, JANE HUNTER "JEAN"
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Jean Eddington wife of the late William James Eddington and daughter of the late James and Janet (Bertram) Cairns, on August 19, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Waddingham, Scotland on September 29, 1929, she married William in 1947.
Jean joined St. James Presbyterian Church in 1950 and became actively involved with the Ladies Guild and Seniors Club, and also was an avid knitter.
Survived by her children Linda Kyte (Ray) of Wasaga Beach, ON, Joan Crouse (Leslie) of Hanwell, NB, Sandra Wickholm (Jim) of Mazerolle Settlement, NB, John (Verna) of Kingsclear, NB, James (Mickey) of Fredericton, NB and Ronald (Jane) of Hanwell, NB; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; step-brother Donald Cairns (Wanda) of New Maryland, NB; step-sister Sheila Milburn of Rothesay, NB; sister-in-law Joyce of Marysville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by brothers James and Bert, step-mother Annie Cairns.
The family will receive family and friends at St. James Presbyterian Church, Hanwell, NB on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the St. James Presbyterian Church, Hanwell, NB at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendy MacWilliams officiating. Interment in the St. James Cemetery.
