Daigle, Ronald James
Ronald James Daigle, 70, of Grand-Barachois passed away on August 21st, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born on March 31st, 1945, he was the son of Laudia Savoie of Pointe-Sapin and the late Hector Gaudet and the adoptive son of the late Edmond and Odile Daigle.
Prior to his retirement, he was an industrial mechanic and a restaurant owner and enjoyed hunting and nature.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 46 years, Jeannine (Richard); daughter, Renay (Wayne) Arsenault of Cocagne; a son Dave (Dorothy) of Owen Sound ON; five sisters: Flora, Rolande, Marie-Reine, Jeanne-Mance, Danielle; seven brothers: Donat, Valmond, Dave, Yves, Paul-Marie, Bertrand, Jean-Claude; adoptive sister, Eveline; four grandchildren: Jaelle, Britney, Jenna, Derek as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his faithful companion “Hobo” who was always at his side.
He was predeceased by his father and adoptive parents, a sister: Joanne Savoie; two brothers: Perry, Bruno Savoie
The family will received condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday August 23rd2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Monday August 24th visitations are from 9:00 till time of departure at 10:15pm. Funeral will be celebrated at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, 1356 route 133, Grand Barachois on Monday August 24th at 10:30 am.
In memory of Ronald, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
